Start Early & Plan Ahead

Keep up to date with emails from the developer. Once you receive your tentative closing date, contact either your mortgage broker or us. It's important to give yourself enough time to prepare for a closing. Heres a quick checklist to use when receiving your tentative closing date.

Checklist - When Receiving Tentative Closing Date​

  1. Contact either your mortgage broker or us to start the process of securing funding.
     

  2. Find a lawyer if you don't already have one. We are more than happy to refer you to lawyers we've worked with in the past. 
     

  3. Order personal cheques if you don't already have them. You'll need these for any post dated maintenance fee cheques or VOID cheques for your lawyer.
     

  4. Look for an email regarding a Pre-delivery inspection. You can go inspect/visit the unit or have the builder's third party conduct it for you.
     

  5. Decide on a realtor / property management for rentals. Our brokerage also has a full service property management company who's equipped to lease and maintain your unit. â€‹â€‹
